Newark — Traffic Information: DelDOT announces to motorists that I-95 southbound will be closed for the placement of steel girders for the bridge over I-95 southbound.
Times and Dates: 10 PM on Friday, November 12 until 5 AM Saturday, November 13, pending weather.
Location: Bridge over I-95 southbound closed between Chapman Road and Route 273/Christiana Road, Newark.
Detour Route:
Motorists heading south on I-95 will take Route 273/Christiana Road onto Route 4/Chestnut Hill Road to South Newark and make a left onto Route 896/College Avenue and return to I-95 southbound.
Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
